Bocce Bash Wrap & Spring Mixer

Our wonderful Gazebo Park came alive on Sunday, June 7 for the Villages Tennis Club’s annual Bocce Bash. While the event officially kicked off at 3 PM, the Club’s Vice President, Jayme Dickson and a dedicated team of volunteers were on-site by noon to transform the Park into a festive picnic. Over 70 members and guests were greeted with lively music and gift bags before heading to the Bocce courts to sign up for a series of friendly, high-energy competitions.
The afternoon was a wonderful blend of old friendships and new introductions, all centered around a classic feast of burgers, sausages, hot dogs, potato salad and corn on the cob, topped off with ice cream sandwiches and popsicles.

Following the festivities, a general meeting highlighted the Club’s recent successes at Rossmoor, VTL, Jump Start, and ongoing USTA team activities. The Tennis Club Board thanks all who participated in this event by planning, advertising, and in many preparations involved, as well as working during the event to make it a huge success. A special thanks to Jayme, Don, Sonia, Asra, Harry, Tina, Kathy, Lynn, Dari, Brian, Elena, Carol, Michelle, and Todd.
